Even More Castle

This is the last post about Cinderella's Castle at Tokyo Disneyland. This time, pictures have a more classic approach but I hope they can still help those of you who haven't been there to understand what it feels like to be there.

The castle featured perfect bright colors, definetely a little too much for my eyes used to the mossy walls of Disneyland Paris' Chateau, wich I quite like, though usually very criticized.

Tokyo Cinderella's Castle More Details

As an apology for having posted so sparsely during the last month I decided to post a few more pictures of details from Cinderella's Castle in Tokyo. Note that these pictures have kind of an historic value now because a few years ago the color scheme of the castle was changed in favor of warmer shades of white and blue.

Details III

In order to understand what it feels like to be in another place, sometimes a little detail is much more powerful than a thousand fancy pictures. Cinderella's Castle usually suffers of this tendency: we are all so much awed by the shimmering white turrets under the deep blue sky that we usually take pictures like this one:

which, by the way is a wonderful picture, but so similar to tons of official pictures that it really doesn't help us to understand what the real thing really feels like. So I thought some unusual pictures could help those of you who haven't been there to get a glimpse of the real castle.
